“È il mio film preferito, anche per come prende in giro lo spettatore. Ai tempi veniva presentato come un film su una rapina, mentre in realtà non c’è azione, è soprattutto un lavoro sulla sceneggiatura. Tarantino ha dato autorevolezza a un certo tipo di cinema: c’è anche sangue, certo, ma è soprattutto incentrato sulla caratterizzazione dei personaggi e sulla sceneggiatura, che per me è la cosa più importante quando vedo un film. La prima volta che l’ho visto avevo 7 anni e ho chiesto a mio padre di andare a fare una rapina: adesso ho capito che non era una cosa molto conveniente!”

“It’s my favorite movie, also because it makes fun of the audience. At that times it was presented as a film about a robbery, but there is no action, the most of the work is on the script. Tarantino gave prestige to a certain kind of cinema: there is also blood, of course, but it’s mostly focused on people characterization and the script, that for me, when I see a movie, it’s the most important thing. I saw it for the first time when I was 7 and I asked to my dad to make a robbery: now I understand that it wasn’t an appropriate thing!”
